Gulfstream Hardscape & Garages, LLC completes one of Florida's largest commercial paving stone jobs in recent history!
PRLog - Aug 30, 2013 - VERO BEACH, Fla. -- In a joint partnership with Belgard, and Oldcastle Company, Gulfstream Hardscape & Garages has recently completed the installation of 45,000 SF interlocking paver parking lot at the Spinnaker Point Condominium in Vero Beach, FL, Spinnaker Point Homeowners Association contacted Gulfstream Hardscape back in March of this year to discuss tearing out it's asphalt parking lot and replacing it with an interlocking paver product, Gulfstream Hardscape, a "Master Craftsman" with Belgard Hardscapes. The project started in July and proceeded daily with little or no weather problems, or down time.
Gulfstream Hardscape is one of the first "Master Craftsman" with Belgard, and one of only 15 in the United States. With it come a five year warranty on all labor and workmanship, and a lifetime warranty on materials, and other requirements that take years to amass.
After its initial meeting and presentation the HOA chose Belgard’s, new colors know as Napoli, in their Appian Combo shape on its 150 car parking lot. Once the Homeowners Association (HOA) found out that sand-set interlocking pavers, where over twice as strong as poured in place concrete, and when looking at "life cycle", interlocking pavers are actually far less expensive then concrete or even asphalt, The look is superior to anything, so the HOA, took little or no time to make their decision.
The project started in June 2013, and took a total of six weeks to install including demolition of all asphalt, and hauling material to a recycling plant, then the installation of over 250,000 individual pavers by hand, Gulfstream Hardscape also installed Belgard’s Weston Wall along planter beds and landscaped areas.
Upon completion of the project it was acknowledged by all of the fulltime residents, how much the parking lot improved the entire overall look of the condominium located in the Moorings Golf & Marina Community...
Gulfstream Hardscape has been involved with other projects along the Treasure coast as large as 1,000,000 Sf, as well as everyday residential jobs, including driveways, pool decks, and patios.
When sitting down and discussing the project, Gulfstream was happy to acknowledge that the construction industry in general has stated to recover in the last year and a half, we have been contacted throughout the area with new home projects, sub-divisions and other larger jobs like Spinnaker that have all put new "Hardscape Project" on the current calendar.
Vero Beach's construction industry was hit hard in the last 6-7 years, and it seems that every level of construction from commercial to residential is starting to indicate a recovery. Projects like Spinnaker Point generally take place during the summer season when most "Snow Birds" are up north.
Gulfstream Hardscape & Garages has an Epoxy Floor division that has also seen huge increase in projects related to homeowners, commercial and industrial projects.
