Annual event brings men of faith together for a time of fellowship and dining on a variety of meat.
PRLog - Sep. 21, 2013 - MANSFIELD, Texas -- The 2013 Beast Feast, hosted by Walnut Ridge Baptist Church and sponsored by a variety of businesses including Novers Financial, will be held September 30. This annual event has grown in popularity over the last few years as it brings men together from all over the Metroplex to learn about faith, fatherhood and life while eating a variety of cooked meats.
This year special guest will be Jimmy Sites.
"We love being involved in the local community and we love to eat!" Co-founder Brady Speers said. "Last year there was about 2000 people there and the guest was Jase Robertson from Duck Dynasty. It was incredible and this year should be great too. We are proud to be a part of it because men need an outlet and iron sharpens iron."
Walnut Ridge started this annual tradition a few years ago and since then it has become a mainstay in the community and something people look forward to every year. The event includes a meal, special guest, a variety of outdoor booths and activities, prizes and hunting and fishing gear. It runs from 4:00-8:30 and tickets are $15 if they are not sold out.
