Methodology
Companies on the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2013 Fast Private list are ranked according their three-year percent change in revenue from 2010 to 2012. To qualify, companies must be headquartered in the Silicon Valley and be privately held for all three years covered by the award period. They must have been in business for the entire 2010 year and have had a three-year sales increase in 2012 over 2010 with a minimum of $200,000 in sales in 2010.
