The principally South Carolina law firm of Reeves, Aiken & Hightower, LLP has teamed up with the North Carolina firm Minick Law, P.C. in an effort to serve a broader number and variety of clients in both the Palmetto and Tar Heel states.
PRLog - Nov. 14, 2013 - ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Reeves, Aiken & Hightower is a personal injury and criminal defense firm with offices in South Carolina (Columbia, Fort Mill, and Charleston) and one North Carolina office in Charlotte.  The attorneys of Minick Law have offices in Asheville, Wilmington, Charlotte, and Gastonia.  Minick Law in addition to criminal defense and personal injury also offers clients estate planning advice.

With the two firms’ offices taken together, the attorneys of the two firms should be able to meet with and serve clients throughout both the state of North Carolina and South Carolina in issues of both civil and criminal litigation.

While Reeves, Aiken & Hightower began as a South Carolina firm with offices originally in Fort Mill and Columbia, Minick Law originated in Asheville, in the midst of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Minick Law’s founder James Minick focused his initial practice on criminal defense, while much of the practice of Reeves, Aiken & Hightower is in personal injury.

Both firms embrace a team-based approach to the practice of law, both believing that when individuals work together to solve difficult problems that the results are better for all parties.  Together the two firms have the combined experience of eight attorneys with diverse experience in the practice and enforcement of law, including former prosecutors, insurance defense lawyers, public defenders, and a SWAT officer.
