Visit Brainerd and Mount Ski Gull partner with several local businesses for the Minnesota Winter Getaway Giveaway. Registrants can win one of several packages that include lodging, tubing, dining, water park passes and more in Brainerd, Minnesota's Playground.
PRLog - Dec. 30, 2013 - BRAINERD, Minn. -- With winter in full swing, snow on the ground, and cold weather settling in a bit early this year Visit Brainerd partnered with Mount Ski Gull and several other local businesses to crank up the winter fun and give away several Minnesota winter getaway packages.
Mount Ski Gull itself turned up the heat a bit this year with the announcement of some big changes to its offerings including the largest tubing hill in Minnesota at over 1,200 feet, a new 800 foot dedicated terrain park with a high speed tow and ever changing array of jumps, ramps, and more, plus improvements to both its bunny hill and downhill ski runs.
Giveaway packages include a water park weekend with one night stay at a Brainerd Minnesota indoor water park, four water park passes, tubing hill passes for Mount Ski Gull, and a dining certificate for a local restaurant. Other packages include lodging, dining, tubing, water park passes, and even a snowmobile rental.
Contributing businesses include Arrowwood Lodge of Brainerd Lakes/Paul Bunyan Water Park, Rapid River Lodge & Water Park, Holiday Inn Express & Three Bear Water Park, AmericInn, Baymont Inn & Suites, Baxter’s Bar & Grille, Prairie Bay Grille, Boomer Pizza, Boats & Beyond Rental, and of course Mount Ski Gull.
The Brainerd Lakes Area offers a wide variety of winter activities including over 1,200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, hundreds of lakes, cross country skiing, fat tire winter mountain biking, tubing, skiing, and more. In February the Brainerd area hosts the Frozen Fore Winter Festival which offers two days of live music, frozen flop, ice golf, food fest, and other great activities all on Gull Lake just north of Brainerd/Baxter. This combines to make the area a great Minnesota winter destination.
