There will also be a trunk show by Lorna Jane Active Wear.
Risa studied with Pilates elder Ron Fletcher in the mid seventies in Beverly Hills, CA.
She is the author her own book, has a SHEPARD METHOD DVD out, has contributed to hundreds of publications, and is on the advisory board for Pilates Style Magazine. Her workouts can be seen on Pilates Anytime, an online Pilates tutorial.
Risa has a successful Pilates Teacher Training Program in which her students now teach all over the world.
Clients in their 90s, and others who still practice with THE SHEPPARD METHOD, will be on hand to tell of their experiences of Pilates and THE SHEPPARD METHOD. “It insures a longer, healthier, and happier life, and can be practiced no matter your age or ability," Risa added.
Risa also offers Pregnancy workshops, Senior Fitness Workshops, Pilates for Teenagers, and Therapeutic Movement to enhance rehabilitation from injury.
“We just outgrew our old studio,” said Risa. “This gives us room for more mat classes, privates sessions, and Zumba."
