Bed Bath & Beyond Profit Up 8.7%; Outlook Cut

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. reported late Wednesday its fiscal third-quarter profit rose to $237.2 million, or $1.12 a share, from $232.8 million, or $1.03 a share, a year ago.
