Redfin Appoints Two New Board Members

Redfin (www.redfin.com), the technology-powered real estate brokerage, today announced that its board of directors has appointed two new members. The addition of Robert J. (Bob) Mylod, Jr., managing partner of Annox Capital, and former vice chairman and chief financial officer of Priceline.com; and Selina Tobaccowala, president and chief technology officer at SurveyMonkey, brings the total number to eight directors.

“Bob is a perfect fit for a mission-driven, consumer-friendly business like Redfin,” said Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman. “While Bob was CFO and later vice-chairman at Priceline, the company became one of the world’s five largest Internet companies, reinventing travel e-commerce to give consumers the most value and flexibility. And Bob’s expertise in acquiring companies as well as large-scale quantitative marketing comes at the perfect time for Redfin, which has grown almost entirely organically so far.”

Mylod will serve as chair of the board’s audit committee.

“Selina Tobaccowala is the ideal board member for Redfin,” said Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman. “Founding Evite out of Stanford, she has plenty of the entrepreneurial pluck that got Redfin this far. She is technically deep and well connected to Silicon Valley’s most important technology trends, but she also understands the intricate world of online marketing and customer analysis.”
