About Yellowstone Recovery Center
As a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, Yellowstone Recovery Center was founded on the desire to help disadvantaged women reclaim their lives and create a new beginning. Our goal has always been to provide the necessary tools, in order to help others achieve a life free of alcoholism and addiction. We take pride in providing the most scholarship beds for women in Southern California. Our primary purpose is to provide a continuum of care for participants from their first day of treatment through their first year of sobriety. It is our mission to provide all of the necessary tools to our patients in order for them to live a productive, substance-free lifestyle.
We recognize the vital impact that women have on the lives of their children and loved ones as well as the vital roles they hold in their own neighborhoods and communities. Therefore, we have made it at the core of our mission to provide scholarship beds to those who are unable to afford it. This includes a free bed for women without housing that is in a safe, supportive environment inside one of our Recovery Homes. Currently, we’re able to provide 2-3 scholarship beds per 30 day period. These homes are essential for providing disadvantaged women a safe haven during the rehabilitation process while they are recovering from alcoholism and/or other addictions.
Benefit Details
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $40,000, the equivalent to 1 year’s mortgage on one of our scholarship homes. This will make it possible to provide 6 scholarship beds for women year round.
Our Annual Valentine’s Day Fundraiser will be held on Friday February 14, 2014, from 6:00pm-10:00pm. We will be hosting the Fundraiser at the Balboa Bay Club, inside of the The Grand Ballroom. The cost of each individual ticket is $125 and $200 for two. All donations (at any time), are tax deductible and will aid Yellowstone Recovery’s efforts.
