AlarMe, the long-awaited iOS version of Android's weather-aware alarm app is out now on the Apple App Store!

Ambiguous Comma releases AlarMe, a new, weather-aware iOS alarm app, free on iPhone and iPad.
PRLog - Apr. 16, 2014 - TUCSON, Ariz. -- Bernie checks the forecast on his phone and sees that a storm is threatening to dump a ton to a ton-and-a-half of rain later in the week. Seeing that the morning will at least be clear, he sets the alarm in his iPhone’s clock app for 7:30A and calls it a night.
Mackenzie has AlarMe installed and doesn’t bother checking the forecast or fiddle with her wake up time.
While she sleeps, AlarMe checks the weather throughout the night, and sees that the storm is coming in earlier than expected, intent on ruining everyone’s morning commute.
Using the weather rules Mackenzie set, AlarMe nudges her wake-up time back 20 minutes.
Mackenzie strolls in to work, five minutes early, shakes off the umbrella she knew to bring and gets a jump on the day.
Bernie, drenched and forgetting to zip his fly in his rush to get to work, is late for the seventh time this month. He’s fired.
He glares at Mackenzie as he’s escorted out of the building by security.

Don’t be a Bernie.

AlarMe is an alarm app built for iPhone and iPad that allows you to create dynamic alarms that smart-adjust based on the current, local forecast so you’ll get up when you need to, no matter how unpredictable the weather.

The world was first introduced to AlarMe when it made waves on the Google Play store last summer, attracting the attention of Lifehacker and Redmond Pie, quickly becoming a must-have app for Android users.

* Rainy day means you can’t bike to work this morning? AlarMe knows to let you sleep in, so you can enjoy the drive.
* Snow means you’ll need an extra 20 minutes to get where you’re going? AlarMe gets you up so you can get on your way.
* Foggy morning means it’s a perfect Saturday to get those early morning photos? AlarMe gets you up so you don’t miss the moment.

Bringing AlarMe to iOS was a joint venture between AlarMe’s creator and Android developer, Fabrizio Pullarà, and Ambiguous Comma’s designer and developer, Jaz Garewal. When AlarMe was released last summer for Android, the “where has this been my whole life?” praise was met with a loud cry from iPhone and iPad users wanting an AlarMe of their own.

Now it’s here, it’s universal, and it’s free, with an unobtrusive in-app purchase, only presenting itself if you want to be an AlarMe power-user and go beyond a one-alarm/two weather rule limit. Then, with just a single in-app purchase of $0.99, you can set unlimited alarms, each using all six weather-condition rules.

Some of AlarMe’s features:

* Simple, beautiful interface to get your alarms set up in seconds.
* Works on any device running iOS 7 - AlarMe doesn’t need GPS or location services to set your weather-aware alarms.
* Set unlimited alarms with up to 6 weather rules each with in-app purchase (limited to 1 alarm with up to 2 weather rules without in-app purchase).
* See the current temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius with a quick tap on AlarMe’s elegant weather information header.
* Take the guesswork out of starting your day.

Ambiguous Comma formed in 2014 as an app design and development shop by Jaz Garewal. AlarMe is the first release from Ambiguous Comma, with more to come, including some exciting new features in future updates of AlarMe.
