Interval International Recognized by American Resort Development Association for Mobile Technology and Marketing Innovation

Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), received the American Resort Development Association’s (ARDA) prestigious Circle of Excellence (ACE) Innovator – Industry Partner award, for its Interval Exchange Tracker. ARDA’s annual ACE awards identify recipients who reach the highest levels of excellence in vacation ownership or who have demonstrated a commitment to the betterment of the industry as a whole. The honor was one of several that Interval received at a gala held during the group’s recent convention in Las Vegas.

Interval’s mobile technology team, which invented the Interval Sales Tool Kit app that includes the Exchange Tracker, received a gold “ARDY” award in the Technology Manager category. The Pitch. Made Perfect.campaign, promoting all of Interval’s tech advantages, garnered the gold in the Innovative Marketing, PR, or Social Media Campaign division – Exchange Company or Vendor Member.

The Exchange Tracker, introduced last year, brings vacation exchange to life by showing real people exchanging in nearly real time. A ticker along the bottom indicates the first names of members and to where they are exchanging. The complete Interval Sales Tool Kit app is an array of digital assets designed to interest prospective timeshare buyers.

Other notable achievements of the tech group include a native app for Apple and Android systems that enables members to access Interval benefits and services through handheld devices, as well as a mobile-optimized website.

The winning marketing campaign showcased to resorts Interval’s extensive point-of-sale support and research-driven, value-added membership programs. Print, display, video, email, and web media were all used.
