Campus Quad Brings Mobile Student Engagement Data Analytics to Frontline of Universities with Launch of Campus Quad Engage

Campus Quad, creators of the real-time mobile communication platform for higher education, today announced the launch of Campus Quad Engage, a student engagement analytics dashboard delivering anytime, on-demand performance intelligence across campus-wide programs to frontline university practitioners. The graphical, location-based dashboard provides administrators with real-time, actionable data measuring the utilization and effectiveness of student services and resources. Campus Quad Engage was debuted on-stage today at the ASU+GSV Education Innovation Summit in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Launched in fall 2013 and currently in use across colleges and universities nationwide, the Campus Quad platform was designed to drive real-time student-to student and student-to-university communication, connecting students to underutilized campus resources to increase academic success.

“Campus Quad Engage is defining mobile analytics for universities, not only enabling institutions to constantly assess how students discover, utilize and benefit from student services, but affording them the opportunity to improve programs on-the-fly to better address students’ needs,” said Frances Cairns, Founder & CEO of Campus Quad. “Campus Quad Engage puts real-time performance intelligence directly in the hands of those responsible for creating and evolving programs to drive student success. Access to and understanding of this rich data empowers front line practitioners to be stewards of change. That translates to student program improvements for universities and the students they serve.”

Student services no longer reside between the walls of a designated building. The Campus Quad platform facilitates real-time, co-location of services anywhere on or off-campus. Campus Quad Engage allows administrators and faculty to submit ad hoc queries from any iOS or Android mobile device as well as computers to track and evaluate student engagement as it relates to program discovery, participation, engagement, and learning outcomes. The dashboard presents the performance intelligence data in an easy-to-digest, visual panel that shows trending student conversations, hotspot locations of student services usage, student engagement metrics, leading content contributors, and an overall engagement score depicting student participation.

“Student Affairs professionals absolutely need to implement new tools to measure student learning on campus,” said Thomas Black, Associate Vice Provost of Student Affairs and University Registrar at Stanford University. “While analytics may be today’s buzzword, the collection and evaluation of data is critical to creating rich learning opportunities for students. Delivering that data to frontline practitioners to analyze stakeholder satisfaction, assess communication strategies, and measure achievement of program objectives is even more powerful.”

The Campus Quad Engage dashboard is available now to colleges and universities across the U.S. using the Campus Quad mobile communication app and platform.
