“Sometimes you have to go with the circumstances, but it is important to hold a strong focus on the goals that matter most,” says Noelle Pikus Pace, Silver Medal winner in the Skeleton race at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. “When I’m in the race, I don’t hear anything at all—the crowd, the noises—I am focused only on my ultimate goal. In skeleton racing, where you look is where you go.” Pace shared her keynote remarks with leading executives this week at the Utah Technology Council’s (UTC) (http://www.utahtech.org/) Annual Members Meeting in Salt Lake City’s Little America Hotel.
Pace was born and raised and still lives in Utah with her husband and two children and is one of the most decorated U.S. skeleton athletes in history. She is a two-time Olympian who came out of retirement after an injury in the 2006 Olympics to win the Silver Medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.
