4i's Dr. Eugene Roytburg, Colin Hare and Bruno Melone Lead Smarter Insight and Decision Webinar Series on how to transform Insight and Analytics for more efficient and effective business decision making
PRLog - May 13, 2014 - DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Dr. Eugene Roytburg, Managing Partner at 4i, will host the second in a series of monthly webinars, entitled "Insight Metrics and Value" on June 4, at 12p.m. CST. The webcast is part of 4i's "Smarter Insight and Decision" series, which draws on 4i's deep experience in insight and analytics development and transformation and explores key strategies and tactics that enterprises can use to increase the value of existing consumer insight functions.

The first webinar, held on April 9, tackled the topic "Smarter Insight Function," which gave attendees actionable insights into fine-tuning predictive insights and analytics to drive smarter, more measurable success in decision-making. The informative broadcast covered the current state of insight and analytics and the need for change.

"Many insight and analytics functions are still immature, with more focus on the process itself and not enough on measurable results," said Dr. Roytburg. "In our recent benchmark study, we found that 62% of companies weren't realizing the full value from their insight decisions, and that marketing and sales departments are often not yet taking full advantage of analytics to drive actionable insights. To create real value, insight and analytics functions must be deployed with a specific end goal in mind, and solid metrics that show results." The June webinar will expand on the earlier discussion, illustrating how insight analytics can be used to measurably improve value, effectiveness and relevancy, and lead to faster and smarter decision making. With insight-driven analytics and a refined approach, enterprises not only discover new opportunities, but also optimize and sustain them while developing sustainable growth strategies.

"Insights and analytics is most effective when it is driven by business issues," added Dr. Roytburg. "Our study further showed that only 22% of companies claim integral involvement of their consumer insights, and poor market performance is often the result of ineffective decision making. We take a project-to-process approach, which goes beyond older analytics, to create processes with specific outcomes in mind and to gain insights into specific business issues. The result is predictive decision making that improves performance and revenue."

The webinar will offer a look at how to transform analytics into a more strategic function, resulting in sustainable growth. "Our insight value chain starts with addressing the right questions, and then developing the right capabilities and processes to create the insights necessary," said Dr. Roytburg. "Then we activate that process, and realize it as we create high value for the company and improved and measurable performance."

Dr. Roytburg has more than 20 years of experience developing transforming analytics and insight functions, with a combined 22 years of corporate, academic and consulting experience. He has worked with firms such as Booz, A. T. Kearney, 4i Consulting Group and Business Management Consultants. Dr. Roytburg has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a PhD from the University of Minnesota in systems engineering with a minor in mathematics.

The Smarter Insights Function Series will include two more installments, aimed at creating smarter insights today for better decision making tomorrow. Participants will ultimately turn their Insight & Analytic function into a valuable and effective resource for their businesses. The monthly webinar series is free, but interested participants need to register for the webinar here.
