Nestled in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, A little company has worked months to bring an app to market who's sole purpose has been to give away money in a fun, Adventurous way.
PRLog - Jun. 3, 2014 - We speak to Vlad Dregan about what it feels like being the largest Cash collector in SpareCash's Premier Beta Tournament. For months the Spare cash app has been under development to do one thing, give everyday people the ability to find and collect real money anywhere they are in the world, whether they need it, want it, or just want to have fun finding it. We asked Vlad what his feelings were about the app and his experience finding SpareCash.

SC: What was your strategy for finding SpareCash sites and how did you find so many big markers?

Vlad: "It wasn't easy but I started seeing a pattern to the smaller value markers, if you read them they say things like, 'the way the birds fly in the fall.' That led me south, another small marker, but just a little ways away, I found $100. I realized then it was a game of skill and I really loved that, it kept me searching."

SC: What was the most difficult marker to get to?

Vlad: "There was one approximately 1km away from the nearest road. I had to climb hills through a forest, walk through 300 meter of chest height grass to get there, and it was a $5 marker with a Message about power. I figured out later that the message referred to the $500 marker in the lake by the power generator. But it didn't hit me at the time."

SC: How did it feel when you received the money?

Vlad: "I was very excited, I actually didn't realize I had collected that much, when you're out there playing you see so many markers you sort of zone out, forget what you collected."

SC: Did the money mean anything to you? Do you think what SpareCash is doing is going to help people at all?

Vlad: "You know, I make a pretty good living, but it's not every day you get given 300 dollars for just running around and having a good time. Although I did it mostly for the challenge, I can see how this could make a difference to a lot of people around the world."
