Canyon Gate’s Mike Doyle Earns CMCA® Designation

Canyon Gate, an Associa company, is proud to announce that community manager Mike Doyle has attained the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation issued by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM).

Doyle has been with Canyon Gate for one year. Previously, he spent eight years as a manager for large scale properties and overseeing staff. In 2010, Doyle decided to go back to school to pursue his teaching degree at the University of New Mexico and in the meantime was a substitute teacher and tutor for Albuquerque Public Schools. He was born and raised in New Mexico, but spent many years living in Oregon before he decided to move back home to the Rio Rancho area where he now lives with his wife and ten-month-old son.

To obtain the CMCA® accreditation through Community Association Institute (CAI), managers must enroll in CAI’s Professional Management Development Program (PMDP) M-100 course, The Essentials of Community Association Management. Once completed, a CMCA® application must be filled out and the materials will be turned in for evaluation.
