Narrative Science Demonstrates How Artificial Intelligence Explains the True Meaning Hidden in Data

Narrative Science, the leader in Narrative Analytics, today announced Narrative Science co-founder and Chief Scientist Kris Hammond, Ph.D., will present “The Future of Communications: Human Insight at Machine Scale” during the Cognitive Computing Forum at the Sainte Claire Hotel in San Jose, Calif. The forum was designed to help attendees understand the new world of Cognitive Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reasoning and next generation Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In addition to being Narrative Science’s Chief Scientist, Hammond is a professor of Computer Science and Journalism at Northwestern University. Prior to joining the faculty at Northwestern, Kris founded the University of Chicago’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. His research has been primarily focused on AI, machine-generated content and context-driven information systems. Kris currently sits on a United Nations policy committee run by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). He received his Ph.D. from Yale.
