ZeOmega Places No. 8 on MTBC Fast Tech Listing of Fastest Growing Tech Companies in North Texas

ZeOmega Inc., the premier provider of solutions for population health management, is ranked as the 8th fastest growing private company in North Texas by the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC). The No. 8 ranking is part of the MTBC’s Annual Fast Tech Award listing of the top 30 tech companies by growth in North Texas, and is based on ZeOmega’s 151 percent revenue growth from 2011 to 2013. ZeOmega is one of only two companies to make the list for four consecutive years. It ranked No. 11 in 2013, No. 13 in 2012, and No. 24 in 2011.

“It’s always an honor to receive the Fast Tech recognition, and it’s especially rewarding for ZeOmega because we continue to demonstrate solid growth as an established company with a revenue base that has increased steadily during the past five years,” said Nandini Rangaswamy, ZeOmega’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer. “Being ranked among so many other notable North Texas companies highlights ZeOmega’s position as a leader in population health management and that we have the right strategy for delivering the type of solutions healthcare payers and providers need to excel in today’s market.”

Founded in 2001, ZeOmega is the leading provider of software solutions for population health management. Jiva™, ZeOmega’s Web-based integrated care management platform, transforms traditional episodic-based care management into proactive and collaborative population health management through electronic health record-enabled care plans, point-of-care tools, decision support, analytics and user-configurable workflows. ZeOmega’s solutions serve health plans, integrated delivery networks, and other payer and provider organizations seeking to implement accountable care models with the goal of improving quality while reducing costs.

In its 14th year, the 2014 Fast Tech Award honors the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, based on revenue growth from 2011 to 2013. The ranking is compiled from nominations submitted directly to the MTBC, and through independent research using publicly available information conducted by the MTBC, TravisWolff LLP and Comerica Bank.

“At the MTBC, we keep our finger on the pulse of what is happening in the tech industry in North Texas,” said Bill Sproull, president and CEO of the MTBC. “These fast growing companies are what make our technology industry so vibrant…keep your eyes on them!”
