New York, NY, USA (September 17, 2014) — Author Randy Jernigan is asking the public to submit personal experiences or their own ideas, pro or con, regarding the subject of marriage equality in America for possible entry in a new book he’ll be publishing early next year.

Jernigan spoke briefly about writing the book after being questioned by the show’s host about the project on a Tuesday afternoon radio broadcast to a Salt Lake City market. “I am doing the book. Most people already know how I feel about the subject but it’s not about me, I want this to be about how others feel.” said Jernigan.

Same-sex marriage has been a polarizing issue as some States go through the legal system to have it banned while others have embraced the movement.

According to a recent Broadway World Magazine article written about the forthcoming title, “Jernigan’s objective in writing about this dilemma is to present both sides with the intent that education will open dialogue and stop the arguments. While Jernigan is pro equal marriage opportunities, he is adamant that an unbiased representation of both sides will not only promote well-informed discussions, but will help those on both sides of the issue feel better about what they believe.”

Jernigan has interviewed several high level officials including US and State Senators, religious leaders, constitutional attorneys and four male celebrities who spoke to Jernigan on condition of privacy. A balanced cross-section of beliefs and views will be explored and shared on this highly controversial subject. Jernigan believes this is a political and constitutional topic as well as religious and as the pros and cons are presented in an impartial and non-confrontational forum, the channel of communication can be opened.

For the past 22 years Jernigan has written for numerous life style, health and history magazines with a partiality to reporting on the lives of celebrities and political figures. He also has two screen plays to his credit and is working on a third for an Hollywood film studio. His work is well known and sought after in journalistic circles, partly due to the unbiased approach to his stories. Jernigan is currently doing a press junket in support of his forthcoming, “Stars That Make A Difference” title. For those wishing to submit their personal experiences for the book please feel free to send them to: randy@creativepartnerspublishing.com
