Cloud Dashboard Startup Klipfolio Announces Chief Marketing Officer, Respected Analytics Veteran Mychelle Mollot

Klipfolio, rapidly growing new entrant in the cloud dashboard market, today announced the appointment of Mychelle Mollot as the organization’s Chief Marketing Officer. A respected Analytics industry veteran with more than 25 years of management experience at global leaders IBM and Cognos, Mollot has an established reputation of driving successful marketing and product strategy in the analytics marketplace.

Mollot joins Klipfolio from IBM where she spent the past six years in senior marketing leadership roles for multi-billion dollar businesses, including CMO of the Business Analytics division and CMO of the Websphere division. While in those roles, she has also presided over onboarding and integrated marketing planning in support of the acquisition of six analytics companies, including SPSS, Varicent and Algorithmics. In addition, she led the IBM’s Smarter Analytics initiative, which was a key pillar of the Smarter Planet strategy.

Mollot came to IBM through the acquisition of Ottawa-based Cognos in 2008, where she held executive leadership roles in the areas of Product Marketing, Market Strategy, PR and Analyst Relations.

Klipfolio, which launched at the beginning of 2012, has experienced dramatic year-over-year sales of its cloud business dashboard solution. The company has increased its customer base 2.8x year over year, growing to over 2,000 customers in 76 countries and a growing list of 140 partners worldwide.
