Actress Sandra Luesse has added ‘movie heroine’ to her extensive CV, snaring a lead role in the highly-anticipated fright flick Tice.
Premiering September 27 at the Catalina Film Festival, the short fixes on the rampage of a serial killer and escape artist who has escaped captivity, turning the peaceful Topanga Canyon into grounds for terror. Luesse, also one of L.A’s most popular DJs, plays Jessica, a young pregnant woman whose home Albert Tice (Dustin Loomis) has set up shop in.
The Catalina Film Festival was immediately won over by Tice, nominating it for the highly-coveted Wes Craven award.
The Kathryn Mallinson-helmed Tice marks yet another amazing accomplishment for the multi-talented Luesse, who – wearing the guise of her popular DJ persona – recently headlined a celebrity rock party in Montreal alongside music legends Eddie Money and Loverboy.
