Rackwise, Inc. Named in Gartner’s Initial Magic Quadrant for DCIM Leaders

Rackwise, Inc. (OTC: RACK) (the “Company”), a leading developer of data center infrastructure management (“DCIM”) software and service solutions, today announced that it has been selected and included in the initial Gartner Magic Quadrant for the DCIM tools market released by research firm, Gartner, Inc.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant is a culmination of research in a specific market, providing a view of the relative positions of the market's competitors by applying a uniform set of evaluation criteria, among other things. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for the DCIM tools market underscores the global importance of that rapidly growing market, currently estimated by various industry analysts at roughly $400 million and projected to increase to $1.1-$1.8 billion by 2016.

To be included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, Rackwise, Inc. was selected as one of only seventeen companies from a very broad field of over one hundred vendors that self-identify as DCIM offering and/or solution providers. Selection was driven by marketing ability, sales figures, and technology competency. Gartner cited a number of factors supporting its selection of Rackwise, Inc. in its initial Magic Quadrant for DCIM, including the Company’s solid and well-received Rackwise DCiM X™ feature set, the breadth and depth of the Company’s significant customer list and annual retention which includes several Fortune 500 companies and major U.S. Federal Agencies and Departments, and the significance of the Company’s exclusive strategic marketing agreement with Unisys Corporation for sales and delivery into the United States Federal Government. Unisys Corporation, among others, also represents Rackwise DCiM X™ into their domestic and global commercial markets.

“Being recognized in the initial Gartner Magic Quadrant for the DCIM tools market is a significant indicator of Rackwise, Inc.’s leadership in that market as well as the critical importance of our offerings to current and prospective customers,” commented Guy A. Archbold, Chairman and CEO for Rackwise, Inc. “Inclusion in the report further validates the compelling value of our robust Rackwise DCiM X™ solution and proven track record, both of which will continue to accelerate our growth and expand our customer base.”
