Manufacturing has grown faster than the rest of the U.S. economy leaving many companies struggling to meet production demands due to the inability to hire welders. In 1988, there were 570,000 welders in the U.S., according to data kept by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. By 2012, there were fewer than 360,000. With continued increases in the oil and gas, as well as fracking industries, the demand for welders has continued to grow.

H-P Products brings a unique solution to the welder shortage by innovating a process to remove welds from the tubing solutions on tanker trucks. By leveraging its three-dimensional CNC tube bending capabilities and experience and investing in new tooling and capabilities, H-P is able to minimize the number of welds required for its customers as they assemble finished products.
