CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on weak economic data, commodity prices

TORONTO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Tuesday as disappointing economic data and weak commodity prices weighed on its financial and natural resource sectors. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 65.33 points, or 0.44 percent, at 14,911.59 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by Peter Galloway)
