Kuepa Acquires Cedumec - a Leading Workforce Development Academy in Mexico

Kuepa.com has acquired Cedumec, one of Latin America’s leading workforce development schools, which provides courses and other educational programs for adults in Mexico City. With this acquisition, Kuepa adds Mexico to its existing presence in Argentina, Colombia, and Peru.

Cedumec trains over 10,000 professionals per year. Kuepa plans to introduce its online and blended learning platform and content at Cedumec’s two sites in Mexico City.

“This is a great partnership for us,” argues Gonzalo Pulit, co-founder of Kuepa. “It will allow us to augment our services in Mexico, and provide both online and blended learning courses to adults who dropped out of high school, as well as to those who simply need better skills – in areas such as English, computing, programming, and design – to improve their professional careers.”

“We are very excited about the integration with Kuepa,” states Rodrigo Nuñez, who is CEO of Cedumec and who will stay on as CEO of Kuepa Mexico. “It makes perfect sense in order to drive our expansion in Mexico, incorporating blended courses to our already strong and well known traditional education services.”
