American Honda Distinguishes The O.C. Tanner Company with its Premier Partner Award

The O.C. Tanner Company was presented with American Honda’s distinguished Premier Partner Award in a special ceremony hosted by American Honda President and CEO Takuji Yamada in Torrance, CA. O.C. Tanner was one of 15 award recipients selected from a pool of more than 1,000 eligible suppliers based on excellence in quality, value and customer service that defines Honda’s philosophy and reputation. O.C. Tanner was honored for developing the Associate Service Award Recognition Program, integrating elements of the Honda brand, mission and values.

“I would like to thank American Honda for this distinct honor, and for recognizing and embracing the power of employee recognition,” said Dave Petersen, CEO of The O.C. Tanner Company. “American Honda is a great partner, and we look forward to continually helping them achieve their goals.”

Premier Partner Award winners play a unique role in supporting Honda businesses and operations, including Honda and Acura automobiles, automobile engines and transmissions, Honda all-terrain vehicles, power equipment products, general purpose engines, and the HondaJet advanced light jet.

“Amid record sales and continued strength across Honda companies, we are asking our suppliers to renew their commitment to exceptional quality and service,” said Charles Harmon, American Honda’s senior manager of procurement and corporate services. “We thank the outstanding organizations recognized today for answering that call and helping Honda to deliver on our own promise to our customers.”
