Monster Delivers Sophisticated New Social Recruiting Marketing Capabilities, Extends Social Candidate Search to Additional Occupations

Monster (NYSE: MWW) today announced, at the 2014 HR Technology conference in Las Vegas, major enhancements to TalentBin by Monster focused on helping recruiters connect with more of the best candidates than ever before.

TalentBin by Monster harnesses the vast amount of professionally relevant information people share across the social web, surfacing potential and oftentimes previously undiscoverable job candidates and assembling an evergreen, searchable database of rich candidate profiles for recruiters. This database, now coupled with a suite of state-of-the-art recruiter efficiency workflow tools, helps recruiters engage in high-impact outreach and stay on top of their candidate pipelines.

Since acquiring TalentBin in early 2014, Monster’s investment in the social recruiting platform has focused on expanding data aggregation and consumption capacity – enabling TalentBin by Monster to collect more data sources with immediacy and extend to other professional verticals outside of technical recruiting. Monster is also prioritizing recruiter efficiency and automation tooling.

“The social web is a critical element of today’s recruiting best practices,” said Pete Kazanjy, VP of Product and Technology for Monster and founder of TalentBin. “TalentBin by Monster is unmatched in its ability to find candidates from social activity and is a significant part of how we are delivering on our strategic vision of giving recruiters powerful tools to accomplish their goals.”

Kazanjy continued, “We are expanding our industry leading candidate database and providing greater value for the recruiter. Monster’s mission is to connect people and jobs, and our work helping recruiters do more with their time and focus that time on the highest value activity – like finding and hiring the best talent, is paramount to that mission.”

Expanding Social Web Sourcing

Monster is now expanding TalentBin by Monster beyond largely software engineering and technology profiles. This initial foray includes design professionals, driven by inclusion of activity information from social designer portfolio sites such as Behance, Dribbble, Carbonmade, and Coroflot. Monster plans to add more industries and occupations over time to extend the value of TalentBin by Monster’s profiles for recruiters across the business spectrum.

Additionally, TalentBin by Monster recently added a comprehensive Portfolio Preview Gallery to candidate profiles featuring content from these design sites. Like the TalentBin by Monster profile itself, the gallery integrates user contributions from multiple sources, allowing recruiters to see and engage with design-specific content from each relevant platform without leaving TalentBin by Monster.

Industry-Leading Rapid, Continuous Collection

In addition to new occupational areas, TalentBin by Monster’s data-refresh and rate of new profile discovery is now continuous. As the social web continues to grow exponentially with professionals sharing more and more online, TalentBin by Monster’s discovery capabilities now operate at near real-time speeds. This is highly representative of the power of the social web, with professionals gaining new skills and demonstrating them on social sites typically long before adding them to a formal resume or static professional profile. TalentBin by Monster is now able to add those new skills to its existing profiles, resulting in more candidates with more up-to-date skill profiles for recruiters to engage with and hire.

Helping Recruiters Juggle Search and Candidate Engagement

Recruiters must not lose track of open conversations in order to take advantage of implicit signals demonstrating a candidate interest, which allows them to focus their activity on the highest probability candidates. TalentBin by Monster now offers Intelligent CRM, which builds on the product’s integrated email functionality, along with open and click tracking, to bring to recruiters the sort of lead prioritization and scoring that historically has only been available to sales and marketing teams. With predictive analytics and recruiting business intelligence, the recruiter can now work on the next most important thing.

Additionally, TalentBin by Monster’s Automated Follow-Up Campaigns help recruiters streamline and automate the historically labor-intensive process of connecting with passive candidates. The result is raised passive candidate engagement and response rates, with no extra work on the part of the recruiter.

TalentBin by Monster not only automates and streamlines the talent discovery process via automated site monitoring, interpretation and matching, but also simplifies and automates the recruiting workflow, allowing recruiters do more in less time.
