Local Author Signed to Publish New 'Pro-Feminism' Christmas Book

Tate Publishing is proud to announce the signing of local author C.B. Davis and his creative soon-to-be-published Christmas book Christmas 1948.

HOUSTON, TX, October 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christmas 1948 is an enlightening tale that takes a unique spin on traditional Christmas/Santa folklore. All the male reindeer are sick, and with Christmas just days away, their female mates must come to Santa's aid.

"We are so thrilled to welcome Cecil Davis into our prestigious family of Tate authors. Davis's spin on the Christmas classic, that takes place in the mid 1900's, will warm the heart of readers at any age. Christmas 1948 is fresh, exciting and full of fun," said Mireille Mistkowski, the acquisitions editor for the book.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

C.B. Davis after having it on his mind for about five years was inspired to write this story to show that not only boys help Santa at the North Pole and to bring in the Holy land and its importance to the Christmas story. He met his wife Janice in the eighth grade; and they married in December 1960. They have two sons.
