FINRA Temporarily Halts Trading for All Over the Counter Securities, Fantex Trading Resumes

This morning, FINRA reported a technical outage starting at 11:05 am ET, and imposed a market-wide trade halt for all Over the Counter (OTC) securities. Fantex Series Tracking Stocks were among the OTC securities that were impacted by this trading halt, and Fantex Brokerage Services, LLC (FBS) notified all Fantex users about the temporary closure. The stoppage was due to a lack of quotation information available in the marketplace for OTC equity securities.

FINRA has lifted the halt as of 1:00 pm ET, and trading in OTC equity securities, including those offered at Fantex, has resumed. Investors can visit Fantex.com to place reservations and trade shares.1
