Phlexglobal Announces Key Industry Appointment

Phlexglobal, the specialist provider of innovative Trial Master File (TMF) and electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) expertise, solutions and services to the life sciences industry, announces a key appointment to its consulting group.

Betsy Fallen has joined Phlexglobal as a Consultant. Having started her career over 20 years ago as a Registered Nurse, Betsy then moved into the Pharma industry with Merck & Co., Inc., initially working in Data Management and thereafter predominantly in Merck’s regulatory and clinical groups.

Throughout Betsy’s career, she has focused on innovation, process improvement and the use of technology to facilitate the drug development process. She has participated in many collaborative industry initiatives including PhRMA Electronic Regulatory Submissions Working Group, NCI caBIG CRIX and the IRISS Steering Committee. Betsy is an active member of DIA and volunteers on various planning committees. She has also presented at a number of conferences, on many diverse topics in clinical and regulatory areas.

Betsy’s role at Phlexglobal will be supporting the business in the further development of the company’s electronic Investigator Site File (eISF) initiative. Betsy will manage the adoption of the eISF from change management to implementation, leading to improved process efficiencies, cost savings and enhanced patient safety by meeting the needs of sponsors and sites.
