Fractal Antenna Extends DAS Product Line with UACM-PT

Fractal Antenna System’s UACM antenna has become the “architect approved” antenna of choice for wideband in-building DAS systems. Continuing that tradition, FRACTAL introduces the UACM-PT, available immediately.

The new UACM-PT is the first of several new extensions of the famous UACM antenna that get right to the heart of installers’ wants and needs. ”Working closely with our customers, we developed the UACM-PT with an extended coaxial length. This speeds many installations, and solves the inefficiency and extra cost of making and installing a separate coaxial jumper from the antenna to the coax bus”, notes CEO Nathan Cohen. Best of all, the UACM-PT has the same performance and low visual profile, with no compromise in coverage nor appearance. Omni and wideband coverage are standard in the UACM series, with aesthetically pleasing ceiling mount.

FRACTAL has already sold its first lot of UACM-PT antennas, and the antenna is in production, at FRACTAL’s new and spacious manufacturing facility in Bedford, MA. Buyers now have a choice of the UACM ’classic’, with integrated N connector, and the UACM-PT, with attached 2 foot jumper with N connector.
