PatientPoint® Recognized as the Top Award Winner in the 21st Annual National Health Information AwardsSM Program

PatientPoint, the leader in patient education and engagement solutions at the point of care, today announced that its health programs and materials captured 37 awards – including a "Best of Show" – in the 21st annual National Health Information AwardsSM (NHIA) program.

PatientPoint's Rheumatology Exam Room Program won a Best of Show/Gold Award and its Gastroenterology Exam Room Program and Managing Your Weight Brochure also received gold awards. PatientPoint's total of 37 awards – the most for any company or publication – included four Silver Awards, three Bronze Awards and 27 Merit Awards (full listing below).

Since submitting in 2004, PatientPoint has been recognized yearly by the NHIA. This year, nearly 1,000 entries were submitted by a wide variety of leading organizations in the consumer health field, including American Academy of Pediatrics, American Heart Association, Mayo Clinic, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Cancer Society and Parents Magazine.

This awards program, the most comprehensive competition of its kind, is organized by the Health Information Resource CenterSM, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials.
