UPDATE 1-Britain names preferred bidders for 21 probation service contracts

LONDON, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Britain named preferred bidders for 21 criminal probation service contracts worth around 450 million pounds ($725 million) a year on Wednesday, with firms chosen including Interserve, Sodexo and GEO Group.
