Israel seeks U.S. block of Palestinian statehood drive

ROME (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday sought assurances from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry that Washington would block efforts by Palestinians and Europeans on Palestinian statehood.
