Oklahoma Department of Labor Launches Website Redesign

The Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL) recently launched a redesigned website packed with new features, which provide the public with a more functional and user-friendly experience. The new website, http://www.ok.gov/odol, touts new additions, such as social media connectivity, quick links to legal research resources, and the ability to sign-up for updates from the Department of Labor.

“It’s important that we provide an informative and functional website to keep Oklahomans up to date on labor related issues,” said Labor Commissioner, Mark Costello. “Not only is our redesigned website more visually appealing, but it also offers a more user-friendly experience for Oklahomans searching for information regarding labor policies in Oklahoma. I am pleased our new site can serve as a complete resource for the public and I encourage Oklahomans to visit our site to learn more.”

The new website features links to ODOL’s accounts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. There are easily accessible links to FAQ’s, Employment Services and Wage Claims, as well as Worker and Consumer Protection information. Visitors also have access to sign-up for email/text notifications and see upcoming ODOL events all from the homepage.

The website was built using OK.gov’s Web Management Suite. OK.gov is the official website of the state of Oklahoma and a collaborative effort between the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), and Oklahoma Interactive, LLC to help Oklahoma government entities web-enable their information services.
