JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: DHL LAUNCHES NEW FLIGHT IN MILWAUKEE

Santa visited DHL Express shippers in Milwaukee a little early this year when local pick-up service received an upgrade – made possible by a new Boeing 767-200 cargo flight.

International shippers in the Milwaukee metro area and surrounding cities will now enjoy later pick-up cutoff times – 1.25 hours on average – which means more time to prepare shipments for export to more than 220 countries and territories served by DHL Express. The holiday gift to the Milwaukee area enhances service for over 70 Zip Codes.

“Milwaukee is a growing commercial and industrial hub for the Great Lakes region and we are pleased to support global shippers in this community with the most competitive offerings, courtesy of the Specialists in International,” said Karsten Aufgebauer, General Manager for the Midwest Area, DHL Express U.S.

The new flight departs the DHL ramp at Milwaukee Mitchell airport daily at 11:30 p.m. and connects to the DHL Hub in Cincinnati, where shipments are cleared and routed on aircraft to destinations around the world.

The DHL Express service center that handles pick-up and delivery services for the Milwaukee metro area is located at 305 E Mahn Ct., in Oak Creek, WI.
