Good Choice: Premier Patient Health Care Selects Choice Cancer Care as Oncology Provider

Premier Patient Health Care has chosen Choice Cancer Care, an independent, North Texas-based oncology practice, as the preferred provider of medical oncology care for its patients. Premier Patient Health Care is an accountable care organization (ACO), a network of more than 350 physicians in the North Texas and southern Oklahoma region who are working to improve patient care.

The agreement, which was completed December 15th, names Choice Cancer Care as the sole preferred oncology provider of Premier Patient Health Care. As such, the primary care physicians and internal medicine specialists within the ACO will have a proven oncology resource for their patients. Choice Cancer Care was selected because of the group's commitment to using evidence-based methodologies to treat patients and for its commitment to improving patient satisfaction and healthcare outcomes through quality, compassionate, coordinated care.

Choice Cancer Care was the first QOPI Certified-program in Dallas County and the fifth in Texas.
