WARSAW/ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Croatia could convert mortgages denominated in Swiss francs into the local kuna currency, it said on Wednesday, scrambling to cope with a surge in the franc's value that has hit hundreds of thousands of homeowners across central and eastern Europe.
