An alternative and pain relief treatment for humans and animals
PRLog - Jan. 20, 2015 - HORSHAM, U.K. -- It’s good news for arthritis sufferers this week, as Sussex based company Norstar Magnetics announce the re-release of the highly acclaimed Magnessage, a portable Magnetic Field Therapy (MFT) device which in the past has proved very popular in the treatment of joint, bone and muscle pain, as well as for a whole host of other health issues.

Also known affectionately as the magic wand, the Magnessage is a lightweight, portable device which emits electro-magnetic pulses and can penetrate up to 45cms. It’s been unavailable for the past 18 months but is now back after a re-design.

Some of the Magnessage’s more impressive attributes are that it can penetrate plaster cast and can treat painful areas without even coming into contact with the skin and it rose to fame in 2011, after it was used to help the infamous Labrador Vinnie, who was rescued by comedian David Walliams, as he swam the length of the Thames as part of his Sports Relief Challenge. Vinnie, who suffered from hip dysplasia at the time, was treated with a magnetic collar and bed as well as the Magnessage and his owner later reported that MFT had been immensely beneficial.

Although at times controversial, the use of magnetics to maintain health and treat health issues and injuries is becoming an increasingly popular, natural, non-invasive and pain free alternative to conventional medicines and treatments. And as long ago as 2004 the British Medical Journal reported on a survey commissioned by the Arthritis Research Campaign, which reportedly found that magnetic bracelets significantly reduced pain for osteoarthritis sufferers.

What’s more the Magnessage can be used for both the treatment of humans and pets suffering from a vast range of complaints including sports injuries, arthritis, headaches, neuralgia, eye problems, stomach complaints, cuts, burns and stings.

Founder of Norstar Magnetics, Alan Cooke, set up the company in 2007 after accidently discovering the benefits of MFT and recently explained how it all came about,

“At the time I was working at Gatwick and somewhat cynically I tried a magnetic bracelet to see whether it could help with my high blood pressure. The improvement in my health was almost instant but I still found it hard to believe that Magnetic Therapy could have such an impact. I decided to try and learn more and soon friends and work colleagues were reporting impressive results both for themselves and for their pets as a result of using the products I’d recommended to them. I’ve always wanted to run my own business and as I became increasingly convinced and excited about the effectiveness of MFT, starting Norstar Magnetics seemed the obvious next step. The Magnessage was an instant success so I’m really delighted to be able to announce the re-launch of this new and improved version.”

Norstar Magnetics stock a wide range of MFT devices and their website includes articles about Magnetic Therapy and details of forthcoming educational events. The Magnessage is now available via their website at www.norstarmagnetics.com
