CPS HR Consulting’s Training Center Turns 10

It’s time to blow out the birthday candles. CPS HR Consulting’s Training Center will celebrate a decade of training and developing managers, staff and supervisors in the public sector by giving back to agencies throughout 2015.

Last year alone CPS HR trained more than 13,000 people from almost 200 different agencies, helping public sector employees develop skills and increase their knowledge in areas such as analytical thinking, human resources, supervisory skills and writing. The self-supporting public agency’s practical approach to training using interactive exercises and action planning has helped class participants apply their new-found skills on the job to improve organizational performance.

“Since we started the training center in 2005, we’ve broken new ground in a number of areas,” said Jerry Greenwell, chief executive officer, CPS HR Consulting. “We’ve expanded our training to include more than 150 individual courses and several multi-course programs ranging from basic supervision and integrated leadership development training for middle managers to our updated HR Academy and new Career Development Series.”

To celebrate the anniversary, CPS HR is giving away 10 months of gifts including exclusive savings, giveaways, tasty treats and special events to its training center customers.

“The gifts are just a small way we can show gratitude to our clients,” said Melissa Asher, training manager, CPS HR Consulting. “We want everyone to join in the celebration using the hashtag #10YearsTraining at our events and training courses. It may even help in winning a prize!”
