Freetech Successfully Completed China National Highway G320 Road Maintenance Project in Jiangxi Province

Hong Kong, Feb 6, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced that the Group has successfully completed China National Highway G320 ("G320"), Yichun and Pingxiang two sections road maintenance project in Jiangxi Province by using Hot-in-Place recycling technology.

G320 is one of the most important highways in the People's Republic of China. It runs through 6 provinces including Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan. At the end of 2014, the Group had completed G320 road maintenance project with a total service area of approximately 400,000 square meters by using patented Hot-in-Place recycling technology and equipment.

The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China will conduct the Twelfth Five-Year National Highway Maintenance and Management Inspection ("National Road Inspection") in 2015. The National Road Inspection covers all the national and provincial highways with a total mileage of 48,000 kilometers. Specifically, the road conditions will count 65% of the total scores and mainly considers three indicators such as flatness, damage condition and rutting. By adopting the Group's technology, all of the above indicators can be significantly enhanced. The Group's equipment can perform up to 10,000 square meters service area per single unit per day which can improve the National Road Inspection's results of difference provinces.

The successful completion of G320 road maintenance project before the National Road Inspection not only repaired the damage of the asphalt pavement, allowed the asphalt pavement inspection indicators meet the standards, but also demonstrated the features and integrated advantages of the Group's technology. The Group had completed approximately 400,000 square meters service area within two and a half months, not only shortening the maintenance period, but also reducing traffic congestion and eliminating waste emissions. The result of the inspection showed that the asphalt pavement damages were repaired and other indicators such as flatness also met the standards.

About Hot-in-Place TechnologyHot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials.
