China's factory sector logs surprising growth in February

China's manufacturing sector registered growth for the first time in three months in February, a private survey showed on Wednesday. The flash HSBC Purchasing Managers' Index rose to 50.1 from January's 49.7 final reading, above the 50- mark which demarcates expansion from contraction.. A Reuters poll expected a reading of 49.5.
