A very interesting and high octane thriller told from a traditional point of view while breaking all the rules. The storytelling is traditional Japanese in style, but the content is totally a modern and told mostly from a female Yakuza assassin’s point of view. As the characters develop, there is a straight policeman who is her knight errant even though he is sometimes torn between duty and what is right. His more pragmatic partner is not so torn as the story progresses. It reminded me a little of some of Lustbaders books. Well done!
Kyle Robertson has created many tales of excitement, and this eBook is just one of many.
