The 2015 New York International Auto Show saw the debut of the 10th-generation Honda Civic, complete with new hatchback body style.
PRLog - April 13, 2015 - HIGHLAND, Ind. -- Bosak Honda Highland is excited to announce that Honda unveiled the next generation of their famous small car at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. Based on critical response, it looks as though the 2016 Honda Civic will be one of the most popular vehicles of the next model year.

Rumors about a United States version of the Civic R-Type had been circulating for a while before Honda announced their multi-million dollar upgrade to their engine production plant to produce turbocharged engines in the United States. Then the spy photos of a vehicle that looked suspiciously like a Civic hatchback on the streets of North America started to show up.

The bloggers and critics were already speculating that this meant big things for the new Civic, but few seemed to believe that the Type-R could truly be coming to the American market—yet that is exactly what this year's New York International Auto Show revealed.

To sum up:
Honda is starting off a tenth generation of their Civic small car. This is the first time in years that the American Civic has had a hatchback body style available. Honda's foray into turbocharged engines will begin with the 10th-generation Civic. The beloved Civic Type-R hot hatch is on its way to the American market.
Honda brought a lime green Civic Coupe sporting a wing spoiler, new grille, chrome accents, and more to the auto show, but everyone seems to still be patiently waiting for the official debut of the Type-R as they speculate how much it will have in common with the European release that was previewed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

To learn more about the upcoming 2016 Honda Civic, the Type-R, and the new turbocharged engines or to take a current Civic model for a test drive, readers have been asked to contact the sales team at Bosak Honda Highland. Their dealership is located at 9800 Indianapolis Blvd in Highland and stocks the full lineup of Honda vehicles as well as a diverse selection of pre-owned options.
