“It was an amazing experience” says Ratcliffe from set where he is filming his latest commercial in his second year as the spokesman for the Maxon automotive group.  “I love working in New Jersey and New York, and to play such a great drama role in such a tragedy, gave me the opportunity to tell a story with a great cast and crew with respect and professionalism.”

Barry was completing his book, Acting for the Working Actor, Tips, Techniques, and Tools for the working actor, when he got the call to portray a killer.  “Being bad is fun, you want to tell the story properly, to give it the respect it deserves, but getting in the mind of evil, is more of a challenge than your average role” states Barry.  “We filmed in upstate New Jersey in 3 degree weather, so maybe I should rephrase that.  Getting your mind off the cold was the primary thought, but it works because the original story took place in Idaho, and the rural area of New Jersey is a great photo double.”

He has since completed his book which is available at Amazon.com
