PRLog - May 21, 2015 - LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. We wanted to take part in this years Red Nose Day and spread awareness throughout our local area and support our local kids. People across the country will come together today to have fun and raise funds and awareness.

Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign thrown by the nonprofit organization Comic Relief. In the UK, Red Nose Day has been going for 30 years and is an inspiring cultural phenomenon that unites people from all walks of life in the interest of saving and changing lives across the globe. Since the first Red Nose Day, Comic Relief has raised over £1 billion to help people in need around the world. Take a look at some of the highlights from the last 30 years!

Money raised during the Red Nose Day campaign goes to the Red Nose Day Fund, which then distributes grants to charities that benefit children and young people in the US and some of the poorest communities in the world. This year the Red Nose organization has partnered with twelve amazing nonprofit organizations that work towards Red Nose Day’s goal of keeping children safe, educated and healthy!

Commonwealth Motors has been a strong supporter of our Local Kids, Schools and Charities. For our first Annual Red Nose Participation we have helped our neighboring Partham School participate in a Roller Skating Field Trip. Please give in any way you can, to help all the kids around us.
