Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH Enters the Downtown Market with First Metropolitan Store Location in San Francisco

Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is pleased to announce the grand opening of its first metropolitan store at 901 Market Street, located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The new 40,500 sq. ft. store features an impressive assortment of more than 800 brands from top designers to emerging labels, with fashion and accessories for women and men arriving weekly. The grand opening will take place Thursday, May 28th, 2015.

“This store is the first Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH store in a city center, and we believe San Francisco is an ideal location as we begin to expand into metropolitan markets,” commented Jonathan Greller, President of Outlets, Hudson’s Bay Company. “We are thrilled to introduce our brand and cater to the busy San Francisco Bay Area lifestyle by being conveniently located in the city’s downtown core.”

To celebrate the grand opening, shoppers are invited to visit the store an hour prior to opening for a chance to win fabulous prizes. $50 gift cards will be awarded every 5 minutes, from 9:00am until doors open at 10:00am, and one lucky winner will walk away with a $500 shopping spree! In the evening, customers will be treated complimentary hair braiding, nail polish touch ups and light make up applications will keep guests in the party spirit.

The festivities continue through Sunday with great giveaways, fun contests, and a live DJ on site who will entertain guests throughout the weekend. The first 200 shoppers to arrive at the store from Thursday to Sunday will receive a special chocolate bar containing one of four golden tickets that are redeemable for $100 gift cards.
