I mean, we beat out some of my favorite restaurants in Key West. That speaks volumes for what our restaurant means to the island.”
Vogel was quick to point out that the mention of a “quaint dining room on the first floor,” in the article on Zagat.com was a mistake by the author. The first floor is occupied by the Agave 308 Tequila bar. The Roof Top Cafe indoor dining room is on the second floor alongside the second level outdoor dining deck.
“We love being on the second floor, overlooking the street,” Vogel commented. “Our outdoor dining deck is the ideal location for people watching, stepping out of the buzz on the streets and relaxing with an island inspired meal and a cocktail!”
For those looking for a place to cool down, the indoor dining room is often air-conditioned during the heat of the day but the full glass walls can be retracted in the cooler evening hours, offering a tropical breeze both indoors and out.
“As summer begins and our clientele becomes predominately vacationers, we tend to accommodate the needs of our patrons,” Vogel added with a smile. “Not all of us can deal with the humidity and tropical heat that comes with the island year round!
