PRLog - July 14, 2015 - Ukrainian Universal Exchange already realized energy resources to more than 2 billion UAH on trading results in the first half of 2015 on the electronic exchange trading. There has been a steady growth in trading volumes of natural gas (1,734 billion UAH for 6 months of 2015) and gas condensate (155.5 million UAH – for 6 months of 2015).
Since the beginning of 2015, Ukrainian Universal Exchange significantly expanded its trading product line: liquefied gas trading became more intensive (21.7 million UAH 6 months of 2015), crude oil (296 thousand UAH 6 months of 2015) and oil products (112.9 million UAH. – 6 months of 2015). All exchange trading in the energy market are held in electronic form on an anonymous basis.
"We are glad that energy market participants take part in exchange trading, improving the national economy. We try to meet market participants’ needs and offer them the best conditions for trading – trading online in electronic form. We take care to ensure that the energy market is the most liquid, alive and transparent – this is our task and we will continue to develop this aspect of our exchange," said Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Universal Exchange Serhii Hladkyi.
In June 2015 Public JSC "Agrarian Fund" was accredited on the Ukrainian Universal Exchange as a brokerage office and in the period from 11.06.2015 to 30.06.2015 has concluded 180 contracts on the sum of almost 280 million UAH on the exchange trading in the “Agricultural products” section.
“It is hoped, that Public JSC 'Agrarian Fund' will become principal market maker on the exchange market and will give impetus to the active development of exchange trading in agricultural products in Ukraine,” added Serhii Hladkyi.
It bears reminding that Ukrainian Universal Exchange annually ranks first among commodity exchanges of Ukraine by volumes of transactions and one of the most advanced exchanges with the provision of exchange trading services in different markets since 1997 and actively participates in market transformation of economy of Ukraine.
