CRESTVIEW, Fla. - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- In an effort to show support for breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as to raise awareness for breast cancer, Allen Turner Chevrolet is sponsoring the Wall of Hope for Making Strides of the Emerald Coast at their dealership, located at 4150 S. Ferdon Boulevard in Crestview, FL, from now through October 16, 2015.
The Wall of Hope has been prominently displayed inside the dealership. The wall arrived at the dealership on October 12 and will remain at the dealership until Friday morning, October 16, 2015. Everyone is encouraged to go to the dealership and sign the wall to show their support for breast cancer patients and survivors, or to share their own story. No purchase is necessary to participate.
The Wall of Hope will then be prominently displayed at the Making Strides of the Emerald Coast event that is being held at the Uptown Station on October 17, 2015 at 9 AM.
Making Strides of the Emerald Coast is part of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative. These walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. By participating or donating, people who are currently dealing with breast cancer, or who may deal with breast cancer in the future, will be supported, and the money raised at these events will hopefully one day end the fight against breast cancer. To date, more than 100 teams have raised nearly $50,000 for the Making Strides of the Emerald Coast event.
During the month of October, Allen Turner Chevrolet is working together with the American Cancer Society to help finish the fight. They are not only sponsoring the Wall of Hope at their dealership, but they also have a team to participate in the event.
In addition to Allen Turner Chevrolet’s own participation, Chevrolet will contribute $5 to Making Strides for every social post on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag, #IDriveFor.
